Dear Vortecians,

Things are proceeding not as quickly as I would like with the rebuild, but I am steadily figuring out how to run a server and client.

Here is an update of the steps required to rebuild this game, and my current status:

Implementation schedule (as of 2-23-08 at 11:44 a.m.)

  • Create Flash player's screen (60% complete)
  • Create Flash host's screen (20% complete)
  • Create ServerSocket (30%)
  • Determine protocol for client-server interaction, including boot, passwords, ignore, etc. (taking way longer than expected am using WordScramble as guinea pigs)
